RealNet Canada Inc. releases the June 2007 GTA New Home Market Report providing insight into sales activity, index price and remaining inventory of Low Rise and High Rise projects by product type for each TREB district.

Landmark High Rise Sales For The Past Seven Years

There were a total of 5,013 new home sales recorded in June 2007 in the Greater Toronto Area. High rise sales accounted for 57% (2,852) of the total and Low Rise 43% (2,161). It was the highest ever recorded month for High Rise sales in the past seven years.

June High Rise sales increased by 91% over May and went up 28% from the same month last year. June Low Rise sales decreased by 10% over the previous month and increased by 40% from June 2006.
